Since launching  Big Beautiful Wellness™ I have received hundreds of emails from women who are ashamed, scared and anxious about their appearance ~ they believe they are too fat.

Health may or may not be a factor. But, whatever they see in the mirror is affecting their self esteem, attitudes, relationships, lifestyles and careers.

There is so much Shame and Hiding.

Perfectly healthy women, whose doctors have given them a clean bills of health, who are active, happy and PLUS SIZE do things like this:

• will not let their partners see them fully naked
• will not go away on vacation
• will not buy a winter coat that fits
• will question / doubt when they get compliments
• will not buy clothing that is their actual size
• will not participate in activities where they will be ‘seen’
• will not go to family reunions
• will not attend school reunions
• will scope out room to see who is the biggest
• will starve herself to ‘be skinny’
• will avoid all photos if possible
• will join expensive weight loss organizations with astounding failure rates
• will not go to the gym because they are too fat
• will never be seen at a public pool
• will only allow head shot pictures
• will not attend movies or theatres

This list encompasses many, but not all, the things that women have said.

And continue to say.

Time is not an unlimited gift and I am finally showing this video I created because I hope it help women to see their loveliness.

 We just get one body.

 And living with self loathing, instead of Love and Gratitude for this gift of life is such a tragic waste.

The message is clear.. get healthy, active, positive and then LIVE.

Don’t wait until you are skinny to have a full life.
